This Silk Velvet Sacred Heart kit comes with all the materials you will need to make your beautiful embroidered heart.
Each kit includes 2 pieces hand dyed ombre velvet approx. 13 X 10 inches enough to make 4 large hearts with some velvet left over, hand dyed ribbons, floss and floral trims, embroidery floss, beads, beading needle, tulle, vintage millinery flowers, vintage trim, enough crepe paper ruffles for 2 of the large hearts, cotton stuffing, vintage fabrics for the backing, photo, patterns and supply list.
To complete this project you will need sewing threads in regular and heavy weight, fabric and paper scissors, assorted hand sewing needles, glue stick, tacky glue and glue gun.
Fabric content Rayon and Silk. If you are using the velvet on a garment that will be washed or where it may will get wet please prewash as dyed may not be 100% colorfast, variations in color are to be expected on each one of a kind piece.
I love using silk velvet fabrics in my fabric books, embroidery pieces, for velvet pumpkins and velvet mushrooms. Lovely for crazy quilt pieces, millinery flower making, doll clothes, and headbands.
