2 Stockings For Mary #3 and #6 $38 each
The stockings I had stitched and ready to ship sold out in a Christmas wish, but I am taking a few custom orders if you don’t mind that they may not arrive before Christmas. Also, please note your stocking will be very similar but not exactly like the ones pictured as some vintage and hand dyed trims are used to make these tiny stockings.
For the 12th day of Christmas I made these tiny Christmas stockings stitched from lovely old starched cotton sheets with beautifully embroidered scallops edges. Fill with sweet tiny treasures and treats. Tiny stockings are adorned with vintage millinery trims, ribbons and tinsel and are ready to be filled with tiny treats and treasures.
Red polka dot fabric is a vintage swiss dot from a little girls tattered dress.
Please note the vintage fabrics have been stored a long time and do show some aging in places.
Stockings measure 4.5 inches tall without the hanger.
I found the most beautiful vintage bundle of embroidered scalloped sheets at the antique store. They were tied with ribbon and hadn’t been opened in many years. Sold as is because of the aging and damage to the outside of the bundle but I just loved the sweet stitching along The edges of the sheets and around the pillow shams. The Cotton fabric is starched and smooth, but still shows some aging.
